1. A Note From the Coach
1. A Note From the Coach I have a question for you. Do you want to make money from your business? If you do not, that is 100% okay. Some of us have our business for reasons other than to make money. However, many of us want to, even need to, make money from our business. So, I have another question for you. Are you? Are you making money from your business? If you are, then are you making the maximum amount of money every month that you want to make from your business? If you’re not, do you have a clear plan in place that you’ve implemented and are following every day? Are you performing specific actions every day toward achieving your income goal? If you do have a plan and you’re following it, then great! If you do not, then what is keeping you from putting a plan in place and following it? To put it another way, what will your business be like when it’s generating the amount of money you want it to be making? And what will it take for you to accomplish this outcome? That's what this newsletter focuses on this month - getting into action to achieve the results you want. So, keep reading. Use whatever resources provided here and elsewhere that you think can help you take the next step towards realizing success with your business. Your Coach, Kimberly Anne P.S. Feature Article: Little Things Mean Everything It's often said that in five years, we will be the sum total of who we are today plus four other elements:
The books we read... I believe that. I read recently that 70% of new jobs are obtained through networking, and I believe this figure is even higher for creating new business opportunities. I fly frequently in my work, and I always make a point of meeting the person next to me on the plane and learning something about him or her. When I get home, I send a hand- written note thanking them for their time and conversation. I recently sat next to a Vice President of Sales for a Fortune 500 company. We talked about sales in general and about "The Science of Success," and I wrote him my usual note. Two weeks later, he called and we talked more about my work. After a few conversations, I signed a contract for multiple speaking engagements with his company. Over dinner at the first of these events, he told me that he had called because he was intrigued by my ideas, but mostly because he was impressed that I had written him the note. We always hear that "little things mean a lot." I believe they mean everything! In this case, a genuine interest in a person and his business, a stimulating conversation and a small courtesy resulted in a pleasant and profitable partnership. In what way can you begin to utilize the "little things mean everything" principle in your business this week? What can you put in motion today?
