1. A Note From the Coach

Happy New Year!

Wow, it’s 2008. I feel as many of you have shared with me – 2007 flew by too quickly.

Now, the last thing that I want to do is start the New Year off on any hint of a sour note. However, I do want all of you to feel I’m here to support you exactly where you are.

So, I know that for some of you last year was a huge success. For others, it was a year of maintaining the status quo. Yet others of you struggled and may be left feeling discouraged.

Regardless of where you are, this newsletter is for you. Take the time, right now, to read it. Digest what it says. Then, let me work with you over the next year to make 2008 what you want it to be.

Give the gift of giving to yourself by doing everything in your power in 2008 to create the life that you want.

Your Coach,

Kimberly Anne

2. Feature Article:

The Past Does Not Equal the Future

Many people get discouraged when they look at what has happened so far in their lives. They say, "I guess I just wasn't cut out to be a success. I've never really made anything work for me."

Every successful person knows that when it comes to success, the past does not dictate the future. If you look at your current results to define who you are and how successful you can be, you may disempower yourself and even limit your future success. It's like driving to work and figuring out where to turn by looking into the rearview mirror instead of at the road ahead of you. It doesn't produce good results.

Your current situation is the direct result of your past thoughts, decisions and actions. If you look at your current situation and make decisions about who you are and what you can have based on those results, then you will repeat the same thoughts, decisions and perhaps even actions that got you where you are today. What this guarantees is that you will get the same results again and end up with more of whatever you have now.

When you change your thoughts, you will change your results. If you understand this principle, you can change your life. This is a new way of thinking for most of us ... but true success begins only when you turn away from the things you don't want and begin to focus on what you do want.

To your continued wealth and happiness,

3. Food 4 Thought

Making A Choice Is Your Greatest Power

At any time you can decide to alter the course of your life.
No one can ever take that away from you.
You can do what you want to do and be who you want to be.

Nature is constantly at work around you.
Character and destiny are her handiwork.
She gives you love and hate, jealousy and reverence.

You have the power to choose which impulse you follow.

While your character is formed by your circumstances,
your desires can shape those circumstances.
The one thing over which you have absolute control are your own thoughts.
It is this that puts you in a position to control your own destiny.

Your greatest power is the power to choose.

5. Practical Tools for Your Business

a) If I could show you how to have a successful internet home-based business in less than 200 pages, would you read such a book? If so, then check out this free e-book.

b) Do you want some tips on how to more effectively network? Then check out The Link System.

c) Do you publish an e-newsletter? If so, spam check it before you send it. That way more of your recipients will get it in their inbox versus their spam or junk folder. Use this handy, free, spam checker tool: Free Spam Checker.

d) To be successful, we all need to continue to work on ourselves. So, get a course in some good, sound, success principles, and listen to it over and over.

e) Keep track of all of the marketing and sales activities you're conducting for your business. Use the tracking worksheet to help you get started.

f) Want to have an unlimited supply of people coming to you for your products or services? Put the "net" into your business with this powerful, yet inexpensive approach.

g) Don't think you can afford one-on-one business coaching? Then consider an alternative. Many people get more than the results they want from group coaching. Contact me for details.

Is this newsletter helping you? If so, please let me know - I love getting feedback. If not, please let me know that as well - let me know what you'd like to see in it that will assist you with building your business.

For now, remember: Treat your business like a business so that it rewards you like a business.
